Vintage Philco "The Sportster" (Model E-675-124), a portable tube-type AM radio encased in leather.

Era: Manufactured circa 1956–1957.

Design: Features a distinctive, lunch-box-sized design with an all-leather reddish-brown case, a metal grille, and a signature Philco logo trim.

Technology: An analog, four-tube AM radio chassis.

Functionality: Designed as a portable unit, often including an internal AC power cord compartment.

Power on takes a while to warm up. I can get a couple channels with noise (I live in a rural area).
