This antique hunting party photograph measures approximately 9.5 x 8 inches and is printed on photographic paper that has been glued down to a heavy board mount. The image depicts a large group of men and several boys posed in front of a simple rural cabin or hunting lodge. Many of the men are holding shotguns, and several wear period hats, suits, vests, and work clothing consistent with the late 1890s to early 1910s.
The central figures stand elevated on the porch steps, flanked by fellow sportsmen holding long guns, suggesting an organized hunting club, community shoot, or seasonal outing. The inclusion of boys and the formal group arrangement gives the piece a commemorative feel. The modest wooden structure and open landscape reinforce a rural American setting.
Condition shows expected age: surface wear, scattered staining and toning to both the image and board mount, and corner wear. The reverse is plain board with visible age spotting. A strong piece of early sporting Americana with excellent display presence—appealing to collectors of hunting memorabilia, rural history, and early 20th-century photography.
