Up for your consideration is a wonderful piece of mid-century holiday kitsch! This authentic 1950s/1960s Santa Claus \"Money Bag\" or candy pouch features a vibrant red felt stocking-style body with a working metal zipper running down the front of the hat.

The front showcases a charming, highly detailed molded plastic/vinyl Santa face with beautifully painted blue eyes, rosy blushed cheeks, and a wonderfully fluffy, long white synthetic mohair beard. The back of the hat retains its original blue and white stamped paper \"MADE IN JAPAN\" label.

These novelty pouches were traditionally hung on the tree or mantle to hold small gifts, candy canes, or cash holiday treats. It makes an excellent addition to any MCM, kitsch, or vintage Christmas collection!
