This vintage chrome postcard shows St. Christopher\'s Lodge on U.S. Highway 50 at Stateline in the Lake Tahoe area, featuring its colorful roadside sign, heated swimming pool (with swimmers), and classic mid-century motel architecture. The reverse advertises king and queen beds, phones, TV, coffee, ice, and walking distance to casinos and clubs, and displays both American Express and BankAmericard logos. Card SC8875 was produced by Mike Roberts Color Productions of Berkeley, California, with the color photograph credited to Louis Roberts.This postcard was published approximately in the 1960s to mid-1970s and has strong color and a clean image. The postcard is unposted and remains in very good vintage condition with light corner and edge wear. The dark area at the lower right is a shadow present in the original photograph and not a defect.
