This listing features a rare, highly collectible vintage art glass figurine of "Willie the Mouse" produced by Boyd's Crystal Art Glass. Issued exclusively as a special hand-painted holiday release for Christmas 2001, this piece features "2001" inscribed in green script on the mouse's forehead. The mouse is beautifully detailed with hand-painted holly leaves and red berries draped across its belly, complete with festive red ears and red matching boots.
The reverse side confirms its highly limited production run, individually numbered by the artist as number 144 out of only 200 pieces ever made (#144/200) alongside the painter's signature initials. The base clearly displays the molded, trademark Boyd "B" inside a diamond stamp. Formulated with classic uranium oxides, the semi-opaque white slag glass body reacts brilliantly under an ultraviolet blacklight, igniting into an intense neon green glow.
The piece stands approximately 2 inches tall and is in immaculate condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites, or paint loss. Please inspect all daylight and UV photos carefully to verify the exact numbering and pristine quality before purchasing.
