Beautiful collectible Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass covered dish in a vibrant opaque yellow with subtle lighter swirls throughout the glass. This charming two-piece piece features a deeply molded geometric diamond pattern covering both the bowl and lid. The lid is topped with a tall pointed finial, giving the little dish a surprisingly dramatic profile for its size. The yellow glass has attractive variations and swirling rather than being a completely uniform solid color, which gives the molded details additional depth. The underside is clearly marked with Boyd’s distinctive B inside a diamond trademark, confirming it as a piece produced by Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass of Cambridge, Ohio. Boyd operated beginning in 1978 and became particularly well known for its small collectible pressed-glass pieces and its enormous variety of glass colors. This would make a wonderful addition to a Boyd Glass collection, colorful vintage glass display, miniature covered-dish collection, or vanity display.Condition: Very good pre-owned collectible condition. I do not see any obvious chips or cracks in the photographs provided. Please inspect the rim of both the lid and base closely before listing, since tiny edge nicks can be difficult to see in photographs.Item details* Maker: Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass
