Beautiful authentic US Civil War P1857 cartridge box. I purchased this cartridge box from The Horse Soldier in Gettysburg PA which is one of the most reputable dealers in the country. I have included a copy of the recipe. This cartridge box is in amazing condition. The leather is still slightly pliable and the hardware and box plate are firmly attached. The original metal tin is also inside. This would be an amazing addition to any collection.
