Antique desk inkstand with an ornate, scroll-patterned cast iron base. It has beautiful swirling and curves throughout the base. It has a black base, showing some of the beautiful gold tone underneath, which is normal considering its age. Gold tone on the reverse.

Crafted in the Art Nouveau or Victorian style, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The well itself is a stunning cut glass with a beautiful pattern. Comes with a matching lid.

The top has a small dent in it, see pics.
