Magnificent! A true rarity. Genuine antique, early 1920\'s French Follies or Circus headdress. Beautiful wired bandeau is hand wired with sparkling French jet (black glass) beads. The sides are fully wired so you can conform this to the head, and it also has black ribbon ties. Towering from the center front are Huge and fluffy black ostrich plumes and bounce as you walk. Just WOW! In back the plumes are wrapped in black velvet felt for comfort. I can see a circus horseback rider wearing this, or a dancer on the Follies in Paris. From a performer\'s estate, she was on the Paris stage in the WWI era through the mid 1920\'s. A true collector\'s piece.
