Up for grabs is an exceptionally nice Hammond Multiplex typewriter. This model is folding with the 3 Row Type sectors with Shift and Figure keys. It actually types pretty well considering. It is a little sluggish so you cannot type fast but deliberate works fine. Has 2 shuttles. One English and the other is perhaps Russian. Please look and see the characters printed. Has a brand new rubber impression strip to protect the shuttles. The feed roll and platen appear to be newly recovered. Not a trace of wear or flat spots. That\'s a $300 repair job right there. The metal keybuttons have a bit of wear and the paper inside quite faded but easily readable. The paint is excellent for a 100 year old typewriter and the gold lettering is still excellent. The feet have seen better days as has the lower part of the cover. MISSING the Lid of the case. Serial # is F238357. Free Shipping to 48 states.
