DESCRIPTION
Vintage 1947 H. Fishlove & Co. “Old Faithful” #784 novelty souvenir, made in Chicago, U.S.A.
The original box features an illustrated Old Faithful geyser scene and was designed so the entire package could actually be mailed — the reverse includes address lines, a space for a three-cent U.S. postage stamp, and the wording “Postmaster: May be opened for postal inspection.”
Includes the original illustrated interior insert and small wooden component shown in the photos.
The original packaging shows substantial age-related wear including staining, discoloration, creasing, edge and corner wear, surface wear and deterioration consistent with its age. The wooden component also shows age and wear. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition and completeness.
A very unusual piece of 1940s American roadside/tourism memorabilia with its original packaging intact.
