Beautiful vintage Catholic rosary featuring warm brown wooden beads connected by dark metal links. The substantial wooden crucifix is adorned with a silver-tone corpus, INRI plaque, and protective metal corner accents.
The reverse of the crucifix is covered in silver-tone metal and stamped “LOURDES” and “FRANCE,” indicating it was likely made as a devotional or pilgrimage souvenir from Lourdes, France. A detailed rectangular Marian center medal completes the design. Dated to approximately the 1940s–1950s, and was curated from a convent.
Measures approximately 28 inches long, as photographed. This is a lovely larger-scale rosary suitable for prayer, display, a devotional collection, or a meaningful religious gift.
