Unusual 1920s real photo postcard showing an automobile belonging to the St. Joe Valley Legion No. 95 of Elkhart, Indiana, with a large sign identifying the group as a “Jazz Band and Burlesque Team.” The vehicle also bears Moose insignia on its door.
The St. Joe Valley group was associated with the Moose fraternal organization and its Moose Legion. The wording and automobile place the photograph in the period when Moosehaven and the early Moose Legion organization were developing, making this an entertaining piece of Indiana fraternal and social history.
