Primarily used for knives which are damaged - 1000 Medium Grit For Normal Sharpening: Your go-to sharpening stone. If your knives have lost their edge and need a good sharpen, then this is the grit you should start with.
- 3000 Fine Grit For Fine Sharpening:3000 grit can be used more often if you are the sort of person who likes to sharpen a bit more regularly as they are less coarse, this grit is designed for sharpening but not maintaining your edge.
- 8000 Extra Fine Grit For Finishing:8000 grit is perfect for the final polishing of bevels and back sides. It gives a fine, razor-sharp edge to any tool of the knife blade.

- Soak the stone into the water for 10-15 minute, put it on the bamboo base with silicone holder on a flat surface
- Clip the angle guide on the knife at an angle of 10~30°
- Use 400 Grit side for rough grinding dull knives
- Use 1000 Grit side for sharpening dull knives. This process takes about 10 minutes
- Use 3000 Grit side for fine sharpening. This process takes about 15 minutes
- Use 8000 Grit side for final polishing and refine your knife edge. This process takes about 10 minutes.
- Use flattening Stone to keep your water stones flat
- Keep some water on the whetstone to stay wet
- After honing, clean the knife with wet cloth or water, then dry it
- Use a soft brush to clean the stone, then put it in a ventilated place to dry
