WWII Imperial Japanese Army Named Soldier Archive – Medal, Military Handbook & Documents
This is an original collection of pre-war and wartime Japanese military documents, medals, and personal records that had been stored together for many years in Japan.
Multiple documents and military records bear the name Shunzaburo Fujimoto (藤本俊三郎), indicating that these items were associated with the same individual.
The collection contains a substantial amount of original period documentation and provides an interesting record of one Japanese soldier’s military service.

One document dated April 29, 1940 (Showa 15) records an award relating to service during the China Incident and mentions an 8th Class White Paulownia Leaves decoration together with a monetary award of 280 yen.
The military handbook contains numerous handwritten entries that may provide further information regarding Fujimoto’s military career and service history.
The government bond certificates have some coupon sections removed, as shown in the photographs.
This is an old historical collection from the pre-war / wartime period. There are age-related stains, discoloration, folds, creases, tears, edge wear, fraying and other signs of long-term storage.
