WW1 M1907 Australian Bayonet measuring 21.75" OAL, 17" blade. Blade shows finish loss, two tiny nicks on blade edge 5" from the point end. Blade stamped with EFD (Enfield), and an early year of August 1911. The Guard is stamped, "2ND M.D. 0/13452". This stands for the 2nd Military District of New South Wales. Left side is stamped with a D and a forward arrow inside it. Tiny chip on right grip underneath by pommel. Excellent working press-stud, comes with a very good Australian scabbard and is marked, "MANGROVITE 43", the Chape and Locket are stamped "OA" which is Australia's Orange Arsenal. A nice one.
