This exceptional, vintage 1970s–1990s handmade salad serving set was individually hand-carved by indigenous Wichí tribal artisans in Salta, Argentina, and distributed through Fundación Siwok. Originally curated by the upscale mid-to-late 20th-century boutique Frenkel's Leather World in Buenos Aires, this 11.75-inch set features a stylized duck/waterfowl head motif crafted with striking, multi-toned native hardwood joinery. The set is in excellent vintage condition, exhibiting a pristine structural build with seamless interlocking V-splice joints. The dense, naturally oiled wood grain shows a beautiful satin luster on both the spoon bowl and fork tines, completely free of any chips, splits, deep utensil gouges, or dry patches, while both original retail and artisan labels remain fully intact and legible on the reverse side.
