rare, vintage Gulton Rechargeable Electric Lighter, with Reddy Kowatt mascot manufactured in the USA by Gulton Industries during the early 1960s. This item is a fantastic piece of Mid-Century Modern "Space Age" design, featuring a sleek silver brushed-metal faceplate, a black textured body, and its signature sliding thumb mechanism.
Condition Details:
• Cosmetic: Good vintage condition with some light surface wear, minor scuffs, and natural aging consistent with its era (please see high-resolution photos for exact cosmetic details).
• Functional: Sold strictly untested and as-is for parts, repair, or display. Because this is a 60+ year old electronic item with its original internal battery, it is intended as a historical collector's piece and is not guaranteed to hold a charge or function safely.
This is a wonderful addition for collectors of tobacciana, mid-century technology, or 1960s Americana.
