Produced by Kramer Studio, Buffalo, New YorkUp for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic pre-WWII medical history artifact. This is a multi-page, custom-bound commemorative scrapbook-style yearbook produced specifically for the Millard Fillmore Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1941 in Buffalo, NY.Unlike standard mass-printed yearbooks of the era, this premium souvenir volume was meticulously assembled by the professional Kramer Studio. It features roughly a dozen heavy pages loaded with original, silver-gelatin photographic prints beautifully secured using decorative gold photo corners.Item Details & Contents:
- The Official Class Composite: The opening page features the full formal portrait layout showcasing all 31 graduating nurses in traditional caps and uniforms, explicitly marked with the title and the elegant Kramer Studio signature accent.
- Candid Slices of Life: Includes stamped thematic pages like \"Snapshots,\" \"Scrap Book,\" and \"Chums & Pals.\" These are packed with unique, crisp candid photos of the nurses on the hospital grounds, posing in their heavy winter uniform capes on the brick steps, classroom training sessions, and off-duty personal moments.
- Two Full Pages of Autographs: This specific book belonged to a graduate named Alva. The final pages feature two dense spreads of beautiful, handwritten fountain-pen messages and signatures from her classmates (including Lois, Mary, Margie, Bee, Abbie, and Gen Bennett). The notes are filled with rich period humor, references to \"buzzing around on the 2nd floor,\" and late-night cravings.
Condition:This piece is in beautiful vintage condition considering its age. The binding remains partially intact (just the cover page is loose), and the heavy pages hold the original photographs beautifully.
