The Visconti Van Gogh Fountain Pen – Starry Night is inspired by The Starry Night, and the design reflects the movement and color of the original painting. The barrel is made from a specially blended resin that recreates the deep blues and lighter tones seen in the artwork, with each pen showing slightly different patterns due to the material mix.
The pen follows Visconti’s distinctive multi-faceted design, which enhances how light interacts with the resin and gives the surface more depth. It uses a stainless steel nib available in different sizes, offering a smooth and consistent writing experience. The magnetic cap closure is a notable feature, allowing the pen to snap shut securely without the need for threads.
It fills via standard international cartridges or a converter (usually included), making it easy to use with bottled ink or cartridges. The overall feel is balanced, whether used posted or unposted, and the presentation typically includes a themed gift box featuring the painting that inspired the pen, adding to its collectible appeal.
