Vintage 1973 Witt Accents sculptural owl bookends, sold as a matching pair.
These wonderfully whimsical “fat owl” bookends feature deeply textured feather detailing, oversized round bodies, raised eyes and feet, and a stone-like neutral finish characteristic of 1970s decorative accessories.
Each bookend has a flat vertical inner surface designed to support books. The base is clearly impressed “© WITT 73,” identifying the maker and dating the pair to 1973.
A great example of quirky 1970s décor with Mid-Century/retro appeal, perfect for a bookshelf, office, library or owl collection.
