What You Are Getting
A vintage Wil-Hold sewing box by Wilson Mfg. Corp., Sunbury, PA, U.S.A., in classic avocado green: a spool-pin base holds thread upright, and a lift-out cream tray with a carry handle has compartments, a bobbin rack and needle wells.
Condition & Details
Used and complete, about 13 x 8 x 4.5 in. The lid, hinges, latch and tray are all present. The Wil-hold mark is molded on the base.
The flaws, all of them:
- Lid: scuffs and light scratches from use.
- Tray: yellowed with age, with sticker residue marks on the underside.
- Latch: the metal is tarnished.
