Wards two-end pen knife, the Montgomery Ward house brand. The main blade tang is stamped WARDS over MADE IN USA. The second tool, at the other end, has a dark textured face and looks like a nail file.
Slipjoint with nail-nick opening. No bolsters; the marbled olive-gold and black covers (celluloid-type in appearance, not tested) are held by two pins with collars.
Used and worn. The main blade has grey patina with dark spotting and some rust in the nail nick, and the second tool is darkened. The covers show no cracks in the photos; there is a small rust-coloured spot near the lower edge of the front cover.
