Vesuviana Electric Espresso Maker – 560W / 110V – Made in Italy – Tested & Working
This is a vintage Vesuviana electric lever‑style espresso maker, produced in Italy between 1976–1981. It features the classic cast‑aluminum Vesuviana body paired with the original 560W / 110V electric heating base, designed specifically for the U.S. market. These electric aluminum models are increasingly collectible because they retain the iconic Vesuviana silhouette while adding the convenience of an electric heating element.
This unit has been tested and confirmed fully operational. The heating base heats quickly, the lever mechanism functions properly, and the unit does not leak. I made a cup for me, and was great.
Condition
This unit is vintage and shows signs of wear. The aluminum has dulled from age but can be restored easily with aluminum polish if desired. The unit does not leak, heats water well, and the electric base functions correctly. I recommend cleaning the water reservoir with a citric acid mix before use — do not use vinegar, as it can damage the heating element on this style of machine.
