Based on this rare nameplate this is a transition piece only made for 3 years between 1907-1910 that includes both companies names on the nameplate and a capital W on the plunger. When Turner Brass bought the “Hot Blast” trademark in 1904 they moved the factory to sycamore by 1907 and by 1910 they had completely phased out the White Mfg Co name for the nameplate it’s a piece of early American industrial history: a vintage liquid-fuel "Hot Blast" Blow Torch trademarked by White Mfg Co and manufactured by the famous Turner Brass Works out of Sycamore, Illinois.Condition & Features:• Authentic Patina: The brass/copper tank features a beautifully aged, dark natural patina.
