I was advised that the stapler could possibly have been a promotional or corporate gift associated with Bates Mill in Maine.This possible association has not been independently documented or confirmed and is included for historical interest only. It is not represented as established provenance.Approximate ageA vintage-stapler research reference documents a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver stapler of this design and associates the underlying stapler model/design with approximately the late 1960s to early 1970s.
