Important Notes on Provenance & Authenticity
Decorative Vintage Reproduction: Please note that this piece is a mid-to-late 20th-century artisan reproduction created for the decorative and ethnic art market. It is not an ancient or museum-grade sacred artifact. It is likely produced in Tibet or Nepal region.
Materials: Constructed using an animal skull frame (domestic ram/goat, Ovis aries), encased in thin silver-tone metal alloy plating with brass accents, and filled with a traditional dark resin/mastic core.
Overall Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition. The piece is generally intact and displays exceptionally well. As is common with handcrafted vintage metalwork of this age, some metal casing sections and decorative overlays are slightly loose from the underlying frame, but all main components remain attached. Pre-owned in good shape. Some pieces are a bit loose, but this item is mostly intact. Mild patina, some bits of rust, a few minor dents. No major flaws, cracks, or stains.
Surface: Features a dark, rich vintage patina with natural surface wear, minor tarnishing, and aging to the metal, adding to its authentic rustic aesthetic.
