Vintage Theodore Roosevelt Rough Rider Brass Campaign Token Medal Eagle Shield.
Up for sale is an authentic, original vintage brass political campaign token featuring the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt.
Obverse (Front) showcases a beautiful high-relief portrait bust of Teddy Roosevelt in his historic Spanish-American War "Rough Rider" military uniform, complete with his iconic slouch hat. Wrapped along the outer rim reads "THEO. ROOSEVELT."
Reverse (back) features a classic American patriotic motif of an eagle with spread wings perched upon a U.S. Shield with olive branches.
Circulated, vintage condition. There is a factory or period-correct hole punched at the very top edge, which was standard for those pieces so they could be pinned as a badge, worn as a pendant, or attached to a watch fob.
This token is a great historical piece of early 1900s Americana.
