Vintage Solid Cast Brass "Three Wise Monkeys" Desk Paperweight Figurine
A heavy, well-cast vintage desk paperweight depicting the classic Three Wise Monkeys: Mizaru (See No Evil), Kikazaru (Hear No Evil), and Iwazaru (Speak No Evil).
Cast in solid metal with crisp detailing across the faces, limbs, and textured backs. The recesses retain an original warm terracotta-reddish wash that provides striking contrast against the warm, aged brass highlights. The monkey trio is solidly mounted to a bevel-edged brass plinth base and secured underneath with two vintage flathead screws.
Weighing over half a pound (8.5 oz) despite its compact footprint, this piece serves equally well as a functional desktop paperweight or a collectible curio display.
