Very nice restored J.A. HENCKELS TWINWORKS - 415 - straight razor. Razor has been cleaned, polished, honed and waxed and is shave ready. Blade is nice, but does have some residual spotting/pitting remaining on both sides of blade. Overall though, very nice. Light hone wear. See pics for more details. Finished with one layer of tape on spine on a vintage Thuringian hone.
Blade width measures at just under 11/16ths.Razor length is 6 1/8th inches.Jimps on bottom of shank.Blade grind is approximately a full hollow.
Front side of shank is stamped - 415. Back side is stamped - J.A. HENCKELS - TWINWORKS - SOLINGEN.GERMANY - 415.
Scales are original vintage cracked ice celluloid with fancy bolsters and inlay. tch celluloid. In very good condition with only a few nicks and scratches and minimal warping. They have been cleaned polished and waxed. Pins are tight and blade closes ok.
Blade is shave ready. Excellent Shaver!
