Very nice restored DUBL DUCK GOLDEDGE - straight razor. Razor has been dis-assembled cleaned, polished, new bevel set, honed, waxed and is shave ready. Blade is very nice, but does have some some residual and spots on both sides of blade. Mostly on front side along spine. Overall though, a nice looking blade. See pics for more details. Moderate hone wear. Finished with one layer of tape on spine on a vintage Thuringian hone.
Blade width at widest point measures at just under 5/8ths.Razor length is 6 1/4th inches.No jimps on shank.Blade grind is a full hollow.
Front side of shank is stamped DUBL DUCK - GOLDEDGE. Back side is stamped - PEARLDUCK - DUBL DUCK - SOLINGEN-GERMANY.
Scales are brand new custom made faux Mother of Pearl acrylic. Wedge is Faux Tortiose Acrylic. Pins are brass. Scales were hand made by myself. They look even better in person. Pins are tight and blade closes fine.Blade is shave ready. Smooth Shaver.
