The masterfully sculpted scene captures a nobleman in an ornate, hand-painted floral court coat and powdered wig, leaning gracefully over a beautiful court lady as she performs at a classic spinet piano/clavichord. The level of individual modeling on this piece is immenseāfeaturing deep textured cobalt blue glaze work, hand-detailed flower petals, and extensive genuine gold gilt scrollwork framing the scalloped base plate.
The reverse base plate proudly features the authentic gold underglaze Regula factory registry mark showcasing the letter "R" inside a circular ring beneath a three-pointed crown, ending in a distinct decorative calligraphic sweep.
