Regens No. 100 Chrome pocket lighter with an accompanying red Regens box and paper insert. The box end is marked No. 100 Chrome, while the lighter has a polished silver-tone body, a long side operating arm and rectangular openings near the top. REGENS is visible on the base and the included paper insert reads MADE IN U.S.A. Used lighter with scratches, rubbed chrome-color finish, dark spotting and oxidation around fittings and recesses. Fuel and lighting function have not been tested. The red box has edge wear, scuffs, corner deterioration and ink markings; the paper insert shows wear. Packaging originality to this specific lighter is not authenticated. For a Regens lighter collection or a boxed tobacciana display, this one group includes the exact lighter and packaging pictured. The base also carries country and patent wording; the patent number is not reliably transcribed. No exact underlying metal alloy, precise manufacture date, dimensions, fuel level or successful operating test is claimed.
