a beautiful, highly detailed vintage 3D bas-relief equestrian horse head wall sculpture mounted on a solid wood plaque. This piece specifically commemorates the Redlands Mounted Police unit based out of Redlands, California. The bottom right corner features an inlaid, etched gold medallion displaying a horse profile and the official text: \"Redlands Mounted Police\". This was likely produced as an official commendation, retirement honor, or celebratory presentation gift for a member of the mounted reserve unit.• Material: Heavy cast metal horse head (appears to be a solid casting of brass, bronze, or pot metal with a multi-toned copper/bronze/gold patina finish) mounted on a premium thick hardwood plaque.• Details: Includes a loose wire/chain rein accent across the bridle and detailed ornate metal bands.• Weight: Substantial feel, weighing over 2 lbs, confirming it is a solid cast piece rather than cheap hollow plastic or resin.• Condition: Good vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina. The wood plaque and metal head show minor wear consistent with age, adding to its authentic character. (Please review all photos carefully to assess cosmetic condition). This is a rare, unique find perfect for collectors of law enforcement history, California police memorabilia, or premium Western equestrian decor.Shipping & Handling:Packaged securely to protect the weight and finish of the item.
