Vintage Lucite butterfly display case featuring six real preserved specimens including vibrant orange and striped varieties. This 1979 limited edition piece is hand-signed by the artist, Purington, and numbered 72/100. The clear acrylic box allows for 360-degree viewing of the intricate wing patterns and delicate structures. A perfect addition to a curiosity cabinet, entomology collection, or as a unique piece of MCM-inspired wall or shelf decor. The case includes a built-in hanging bracket for easy wall mounting. Note that some specimens show natural aging and delicate wing edges consistent with a vintage taxidermy piece.
