Vintage hand-knit red sweater featuring the iconic white sheep with one black sheep motif made famous by Princess Diana.
This sweater was knit from the Black Sheep pattern published in McCall’s Magazine, January 1984. Made famous globally by Princess Diana in the early 1980s, this legendary motif features orderly rows of white sheep with a single, standalone black sheep making a statement on the front chest. While modern factory reproductions exist, finding a true vintage, expertly hand-knit version in an authentic plus-size silhouette is virtually impossible!
A great statement piece for collectors, Princess Diana fans, novelty knit lovers, and anyone into whimsical vintage style. I think it\'s cotton but not entirely sure.
Measurements laid flat:Pit to pit: 30\"Length: 28\"Approximate chest circumference: 60\"Best suited to approximately women’s 2X/3X depending on desired fit, but please compare measurements for best fit.
I do not see any stains or holes, just some pilling.
