• Standard American single bit pattern with a rounded poll
• Maker's stamp on the cheek is worn: [what you can read in hand]
• Whole axe weighs 6 lb 2.1 oz on my scale. Head is not stamped with a weight that I can find, so 4 to 4.5 lb is my estimate.
• 35" overall length
• Curved wood handle, [tight / slight movement] at the head, [any cracks or chips]
• Cutting edge is [sharp / needs sharpening], [any chips or rolls]
Condition: This is an older working axe that has been restored. Both cheeks have heavy pitting from past rust. The poll and edges have been polished bright, and the rest of the head has been cleaned and left dark. The pitting is cosmetic and shown clearly in the photos. Please look at all the pictures, as they are part of the description.
