Barry Wood Swing Lock is associated with Pacific Cutlery, the company that produced Barry Wood’s innovative Swing Lock designs in the 1980s. Sources specifically identify the knife as a PCC/Barry Wood folder and connect Pacific Cutlery with the early history that eventually led to Benchmade

This knife is in that condition it appears not to have been carrie, sharpened or Used.

The history is essentially:

Bali-Song, Inc. (1979) → Pacific Cutlery Corp. (early 1980s) → Benchmade (1988).

The PCC Barry Wood Swing Lock is legitimately a “pre-Benchmade” knife.
