This listing is for a beautifully crafted Olinala Guaje lidded double gourd with the upper section being the lid, from Mexico. The gourd is of course hollowed out, with top cut out for the lid and the edge of the lid notched to match the carving on the base. The mid-section features a hand painted design and the interior is painted black. This unique piece measures about 11” high x 6.5” diameter. It is gently used with blemishes consistent with age and use.
