This listing is for a vintage lot of four mid-century modern kinetic wire sports figurines. These unique tabletop sculptures are constructed entirely out of silver-toned metal pins, wires, nuts, and springs mounted on heavy weighted bases. When tapped, the figures swing and bobble smoothly on their integrated metal coil springs.
The lot includes four different characters displaying exceptional atomic-era styling:
1. A baseball player mid-swing holding a bat
2. A fisherman holding a rod with a tiny dangling fish
3. A golfer positioned at the end of a full swing
4. A tennis player holding a racket high in the air
Condition: Good vintage condition with nice motion. The metal shows a light, age-appropriate patina and some typical surface dust from display, but there are no broken welds or missing parts. Please see all attached photos to verify the exact condition of each figurine before purchasing.
