L’Anatra may wear a little duck on the stem, but these Italians came to raise some hell in the briar patch. Established in 1998 in Pesaro, the workshop of Massimo Palazzi and Andrea Pascucci turns out handmade pipes with sweeping curves, bold proportions, and enough personality to hold court at any pipe table. The name means “The Duck with the Golden Eggs,” and their smooth pipes carry one, two, or three eggs according to the grain. A Two Egg brings some mighty handsome briar to the party. Italian flair, artisan craftsmanship, and a little mischief riding shotgun—these ducks deserve a spot in the good rack.

My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
