Beautiful vintage Japanese ornament collection featuring colorful Princess Kokeshi / temari-style thread ball ornaments in their original presentation boxes.
The box lids are hand-labeled in Japanese and translate to “Princess Kokeshi.” The collection includes intricately wrapped thread balls in vivid red, green, gold, pink, blue, white, and multicolor geometric patterns. Several pieces still retain their original Made in Japan paper tags.
Also included are two small embroidered textile ornaments with colorful Japanese floral fabric and metal bells.
These are wonderful examples of vintage Japanese decorative textile craftsmanship and would display beautifully as Japanese folk art, holiday ornaments, or part of a temari/kokeshi collection.
