This is a beautiful vintage Japanese lacquerware smoking or desk set featuring a classic hand-painted gold maki-e style landscape depicting Mt. Fuji, a traditional pagoda, and flying birds against a sleek, glossy black lacquer finish.

The set is designed with a central lidded humidor/cigarette jar flanked by two side pillars that double as pipe racks or pen/pencil holders, all resting on a matching integrated round lacquer tray base with gold accent finials.

It is a striking, highly collectible piece of Asian art that functions perfectly as a smoking set, desk organizer, or decorative vanity display
