For sale is a exceptionally rare, complete vintage 1960s store counter display box of \"Sculptured Presidents of the United States\" plastic John F. Kennedy bust pencil sharpeners. Manufactured by ABG Products Inc. of Deer Park, N.Y. (Product No. 603), this is a full, unbroken time-capsule set containing the original one-dozen inventory.
While these store displays occasionally featured a mix of different leaders, this specific box is an intact, uniform memorial collection consisting entirely of twelve matching John F. Kennedy sharpeners. It was produced shortly after his assassination to honor the 35th President.
Each individual piece is crafted from a copper-bronze-toned molded plastic with a clean manual sharpener built into the bottom of the base. The front of each base features a crisp inscription reading: \"John F. Kennedy / 35th President / 1961–1963\".
Condition Notes:
• Display Box: The graphic display box is in very good vintage condition. The colorful, patriotic Americana header card features graphics with deep blues and reds, showing only minor fading and edge wear from storage. The outer cardboard mailing box remains intact with clean manufacturer stamps on the rear flap. The header card does tend to fall over if not leaning against something.
• Sharpeners: All 12 JFK busts are unused and in good condition. The molded facial features are sharp, and the internal metal blades show no signs of usage or wear.
