Vintage Indian tribal waist/body ornament featuring layered woven metal chains and numerous small ghungroo-style bell drops, with articulated construction and an adjustable ring-link fastening section.The piece is constructed in two decorative sections joined by an articulated hinge. One end has an approximately 6\" ring-link extension/fastening section. The opposite end appears to have part of an original hinge or fastening assembly. Because I cannot determine the original configuration with certainty, this is being sold as found and may have an altered or incomplete closure.Both decorative sections are stamped HS and 100T. The meaning of the HS maker/workshop mark has not been identified. The 100T mark is associated with traditional Indian jewelry as a claimed fineness/quality mark, but this piece has not been professionally tested for silver content. Metal composition and purity are therefore unknown and are not guaranteed.Measures approximately 22.5\" total length, including about 6\" of ring-link extension chain.
