This vintage horse tapestry art from India showcases intricate embroidery and mirror work, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Indian craftsmanship. Measuring 87" x 79", this handmade piece adds a unique and artistic touch to any collection or living space. With its Indian provenance and exquisite details, this tapestry is a beautiful example of traditional Indian artistry.

NOTE: purchased on a trip to India in 2006. Item is gorgeous with its muted colors accented with gold, silver and mirrors. Fabric backing is somewhat fragile. There are two tears on the backside. One of the tears is approximately 3.5 inches and does go through to the front, however, it is barely noticeable, unless you know to look for it. Beautiful item for someone who loves horses or vintage Indian artwork.
