Vintage Gustave Kaitz Signed “Silent Masks” Art Deco Surreal Lithograph Framed
Vintage Gustave Kaitz “Silent Masks” lithograph, featuring a striking Art Deco–inspired surreal composition of two elongated, intertwined faces rendered in warm peach, gold, and rose tones against a deep burgundy background. 🎭✨
The flowing hair forms and closed eyes create a dreamlike, intimate mood, making this piece both elegant and emotionally expressive. The artwork is signed by the artist within the image, adding collectible value.
This piece is housed in its original silver-tone metal frame, likely aluminum, with a clean, minimalist profile that complements the artwork’s modernist style. 🖼️
📌 Important condition note:As visible in the photos, the artwork appears to be partially adhered to the glass, a common issue with older framed works. This does not affect the visual display but should be noted for collectors who may wish to remat or reframe.
Despite this, the colors remain rich and vibrant, and the overall presentation is still highly decorative and eye-catching.
