Vintage Garrard & Co Regent Plate Silver Plate Candlestick Candelabra READ ALL
This vintage English Gerrard & Co. Ltd. Regent Plate silver plated 3-cup candelabra will make a great addition to your collection. It features a silverplated metal form with a round scalloped or ribbed base leading up to a center candle cup/font with 2 ribbed/fluted & curved metal arms extending from each side with matching cups/fonts at each end and font/cup inserts in each hole. It does have wear including fine & heavy on the metal surfaces of all components, wax residue in the cups, caked on dark black tarnish/gunk/grime, what is possibly brass tone base metal showing through on the base where the silver plate has worn off, dents/denting, gouges, the arms do not hold the candle cups at the same level and are likely bent out of shape and MORE so please read complete details below and review photos closely for condition.Please note that the piece will be properly packaged and boxed in order to avoid any damage during transit.Thank you and enjoy!ITEM DETAILS:

• Approximate weight is 2 lbs 7 ozs
• Measures approximately 4.5\" deep x 11.5\" wide x 6.875\" tall
• Condition: In vintage pre-owned used condition with wear including a dented area on the outer lower edge of the foot with some misshapen form on the outer face and underside edge, scratches & abrasions all over the metal surface on all components, dulling, stains, scuffing on the metal surfaces, areas of what is likely silver tone metal plating loss with brass tone base metal showing through along the lower outer surfaces and edges of the base, gouges, dents, dings, dents on the candle cups, black tarnish, patina, wax residue, green gunk or verdigris inside of the candle cups, dark spots of raised/textured tarnish or corrosion, plating loss, worn down surface finish, silverplate polish residue/white gunk caked into the details, the outer arms/cups are not level with the center cup or each other and the arms are likely somewhat bent out of shape/form, there are black spots/stains/pitting on the top surface of the center cup (under the insert), there is heavy residue/tarnish/grime/gunk on the inside of the inner candle cups which keeps the drip ring inserts from fully inserting into the cups, gouges, small dents/dings on all surfaces, worn down surface details, discoloring, stains, dirt, dust, grime, fingerprints, smudges, black residue/tarnish caked into the details, some heavier/long scratches on the metal surfaces, the drip rings are somewhat hard to pull out of the candle fonts/cups and can get stuck inside due to the gunk/grime inside the cup, dented edges/raised details, fine denting/marks/dimpling on the edges of all pieces, the metal has been polished in order to reveal any wear/damage/issues with the piece, uneven surface details/form/shape, the outer fonts/arms are not perfectly straight up/level and are offset from the center cup as shown in the photos with the ruler, if you shake the candlestick you can hear rattling from the inside of the center form due to pieces of the weighted fill being loose inside, fine texturing/scuffing on the metal surfaces due to it being cleaned or polished with too coarse of a material/pad/fabric, the metal could use a proper cleaning/polishing if that is what you prefer and overall wear from age and handling.
