Vintage French 94% Pewter & Glass Inkwell with Pen Rest
Beautiful vintage French writing desk accessory featuring a clear glass inkwell set into a solid pewter base with sculptural flower-form fittings and an integrated pen rest.
The underside is clearly stamped:

MADE IN FRANCE
“Étain” is French for pewter, and the 94% marking indicates the pewter composition.
The clear glass ink reservoir is removable and topped with an attractive flower-form pewter surround. A coordinating flower-form holder and curved pen rest are incorporated into the 2 5/8\" wide × 3\" long × 1 3/4\" tall
Approximately 6.7 cm wide × 7.6 cm long × 4.4 cm tall
Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-appropriate surface wear and natural patina to the pewter. The glass appears intact with no obvious chips or cracks. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the description.
