Vintage Chinese cloisonné set: a matching pair of vases and a low bowl, each on a display stand, with one original box.
• Hand-made cloisonné enamel over metal with gilt wire work
• Millefleur ("thousand flowers") pattern in amber, gold, rust, and olive on a black ground
• Gilt rims and foot bands, with a ruyi-pattern border at the neck and shoulder
• Pair of baluster vases, approximately 7" tall
• Low bowl, with a turquoise enamel base and a floral enamel interior
• Three molded resin display stands with a carved, pierced wood-look design
• Original gold brocade-pattern box labeled "景泰藍 – Hand Made Cloisonne Ware – Made in China," with a side label reading "Made in the People's Republic of China"
The box style and labeling point to export production from around the 1970s to 1980s.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The enamel is glossy and the colors are strong. The bowl has old sticker residue on the base. The box shows wear, tape, and handwritten marker notes (see photos).
A warm, earthy color scheme that is less common than the usual blue cloisonné. Each piece will be wrapped separately and packed carefully. From a smoke-free home.
